A mother's milk is the best natural food for a new born baby: therefore breastfeeding is irreplaceable. Today experts recognise the numerous advantages for both mother and baby.

The positive affects are essentially 3 types:

NUTRITIONAL A mother's milk is a complete food, well balanced both in quality and quantity that benefits both the growth and development of the physiological digestion, absorbment and metabolisim.

PROTECTIVE The newborn gains major defense mechanisms against infections from virus, bacteria, from allergies and from certain illness that alter the immune system. (eg. infantile diabetes and alzheimers).

PSYYCHOLOGICAL Breastfeeding is fundamental in creating a bond between the mother and the newborn. The baby hears the voice of the mother, breathes her scent which relaxes the baby and therfore the mother is more relaxed and satisfied.

Lastly one cannot ignore the fact that in mother's who breastfeed there is a minor incidence of breast cancer, ovarian tumours and osteoporosis during the menopause. It also aids the mother in weight loss, returning to her pre-pregnancy weight as producing milk is high energy consuming.

This product comes in a packet of 30 individual sachets containing 5gr of micro powder each. The product is based mainly on natural ingredients, containing typical galattogene herbs which stimulate the production of milk in mother's who have just given birth and improves the quality of the milk by increasing the nutrients present. One of these galega plants stimulates the secreation of the mother's milk (up to 50% more) and also develops the hypoglycemic action and is antidiabetic reducing the levels of blood sugar.

Where milk production is scarce or absent, Lactomam should be taken 3 sachets per day dissolved in water (about 2 fingers) preferably with meals.
